Why did you choose to do a boudoir session?
I chose to do a boudoir session, for an anniversary gift for my husband. I wanted to do something special, since it was our 10 year anniversary. I also had a friend tell me that her session gave her a lot of confidence, and made her feel beautiful and sexy.
Why did you choose Kahlow Photography?
I was referred to Kahlow Photography by a mutual friend. I had no idea where to start or what to expect, and having a friend's recommendation, definitely helped me make my decision of where to go.
How did you prepare for your shoot?
I bought some new bras, and borrowed a bustier from a friend. I also picked out some heels and jewelry, from what I already had at home, and had to be sneaky to borrow my husband's leather Harley coat and chaps, without him knowing! And I did a lot of research on Boudoir photography, to get some ideas for my session. And then of course the obvious things, colored my hair a few weeks before, had my eyebrows waxed, shaved, painted nails, etc.
Who are your photos for?
The photos are mainly for my husband. However, I also got a book for myself for a keepsake, to remind myself of how sexy I am! I also had to show the pictures off to some of my friends!
How was the whole experience?
My boudoir experience was amazing and unforgettable! From the moment I first spoke with Lisa, to picking up my pictures, and everything in between! Lisa was very accommodating, always friendly, and made me comfortable at every moment.
How do you feel about your photos?
I absolutely LOVE them! There are some in the beginning, that you could tell I was uncomfortable, but I was definitely more calm towards the end. And next time, I know what outfit changes and different ideas, that I would like to try. :)
Have you given your husband the images yet, what did he think?
Yes. I gave the pictures to my husband for our 10 year wedding Anniversary! He LOVED them! He said, "This is so hot...and sexy!" I think he was shocked that I did something like that for him.
Which images are your favorites?
My ultimate favorites, are the ones in the pink and black corset. I also loved some of the pictures in my husband's Harley Davidson jacket and chaps.
Thank you so much Mrs. T for coming to Kahlow Photography for your portraits.
I had fun during your session and viewing. I hope to see you again soon!
